I Suffered All Your Fears is an emotive drawing that was produced to express one’s addiction to finding comfort in the numbness of depression. In this piece two Samurai fight off the demons that haunt them. They wait in the darkness for the demons to find them, refusing to leave the place that they fear the most. The blank scene illustrated in this piece is a reflection of the artist’s mind…blank and haunted by darkness, the numbness has almost become too comforting to leave behind. The fear of disappointment has trapped the Samurai in the darkness: They would rather fight off the demons forever, instead of risk leaving the darkness and being disappointed yet again. The armoured Samurai in this piece has been illustrated tearing down the blank walls: He has come to the realisation that there is no point in fighting off the demons anymore, it is time to leave. Why wait in the darkness for the darkness? What not just leave? Why not just think of all of good things instead…why not just leave? Inspired by Utagawa Kuniyoshi’s triptych of Takiyasha the Witch and the Skeleton Spectre.

Art Print Sizes

All art prints are made full-bleed, this means your print is the exact size you order, and has no white boarder. This is to allow for easy framing.

If you are going for a borderless look, simply purchase a frame that is the same size as the art print your purchase.

If you are looking for a print with a boarder, simply purchase a frame with a white boarder and an opening that is your print size. For example if you buy an A3 print, purchase a A2 frame with an A3 opening.
